Doctors for Medical Liability Reform

Dear Colleague,

As doctors, we dedicate our life's work to healing the sick and helping our patients live healthy, long lives.

Sometimes our quest to help patients takes us in unexpected directions. And often we must work closely with other medical professionals, in different disciplines, to restore our patients to health and vitality.

Today our ability to bring healing and health to our patients is at risk.

That's why several organizations joined together last year to form Doctors for Medical Liability Reform (DMLR) to organize doctors from around the country and from many different specialties. This effort is dedicated to passing federal medical liability reform legislation by educating the public and mobilizing doctors and patients to make sure their voices are heard.

But to succeed, we need to do much more. Please take the time to join DMLR and sign up for regular updates on what you can do to help.

It's only by working together, in a sphere that goes beyond the medical and into the political, that we as doctors can bring our patients the healing and the health care they depend on us to provide.
