many doctors are cutting vital services, leaving their states, or retiring early due to the unbearable costs of Medical Liability Insurance.

many states have successfully enacted common-sense Medical Liability Reform which places reasonable limits on non-economic damages and limits what personal injury lawyers can charge their clients in medical liability cases.

Whereas,
|
most experts agree that Medical Liability Reform that has reasonable limits on non-economic damages should be applied to the entire nation.
|

Therefore,

I urge Congress to take immediate action to pass meaningful and comprehensive medical liability reform that places reasonable limits on non-economic damages to ensure patients have access to quality, affordable healthcare.
